Where is the cache memory installed? Does it need a special adapter for this?

The NAS supports SSD cache only in the normal drive bays. Holes are provided in the bays to install 2.5 inch SATA SSDs. You need at least two screws for installation. The NAS does not have mounting bays for NVMe cache modules.
