Then you will probably have to order a micro USB cable yourself. The two cables supplied are either a long cigarette socket->microUSB cable or a short USB-A->microUSB cable. The short cable may only reach to the rear-view mirror, some cars have a USB port there. Alternatively, you can also order the Nextbase Hardwire Kit, which comes with additional connection options.

My installer takes the power from the battery, nothing with a lighter plug... If you're going to use one of these things, then do it properly ;-)

For example, Hama offers a 3-way USB connection for the cigarette lighter, which can be used to charge the camera with the supplied normal USB cable.

The camera has a mini USB socket, which is probably a bit special. For this reason, a ready-made connection cable to the 12V cigarette lighter/ socket is also included
