As Akun said, expectations are different. I won't use it to print photos for the family album. The resolution is too low for that. Colour gradients are not perfect either. For letters, reports or flyers in small print runs, however, the resolution is sufficient.

As is well known, products are a matter of taste. Often, user problems during configuration are also included in the rating. I admit, I have also caught myself giving a super product one star less because I didn't get to grips with it quickly enough... but actually it was just me :-)

Basically, the reviews are good. Only a few had problems and it may have been a production defect (but that's a pure assumption) and then you would have a DOA guarantee for the device: Defect on receipt (DOA): 7 days bring-in.
