Yes, it runs with the Ryzen 7 5800x CPU, as already mentioned, don't forget to update the BIOS. And the CPU gets damn hot, don't forget the appropriate cooling. BUT: It is much more important, at least in my opinion, to choose COMPATIBLE rams, otherwise the mainboard will be as twitchy as anything else. Google helps here ;-)

The 5 in "Ryzen 7 5800x" does not stand for the generation.
