Question about Ubiquiti Unifi Switch US-16-XG
With this (and other 10Gbit/s) switch, can the SFP+ ports also be used with normal RJ-45 connectors?

Yes, with a corresponding SFP+/SFP module (UF-RJ45-10G / UF-RJ45-1G)
Yes, you can, but you need an RJ-45 miniGBIC adapter. The disadvantage is that they get extremely hot. It is therefore not recommended to use too many of them on one switch. That is why this switch has built-in RJ-45 connectors. The other connections are for direct access cables or fibre optic transceivers.
