Technically and qualitatively, definitely! And if you (like me) prefer an "always-on zoom", there is hardly a better lens for this purpose at Fuji at the moment (in my opinion).
Alternatives would be at best the well-known XF18-55 + e.g. XC50-230mm. Especially the latter is a little lighter with even more focal length in the telephoto range. It is also not bad in terms of imaging, but the AF is a bit slow in comparison.
Personally, I can highly recommend the XF18-135 from my own experience, especially at the current preferential price. I took it with me to Dubai and Mauritius and am happy with the results.
