This is a travel zoom and not a macro lens (by the way, it doesn't have the best reputation but I would recommend the German Fuji X Forum). The closest focusing distance is 45cm. However, you can shorten the closest focusing distance with extension rings or close-up lenses. What does "very wide things" mean? 135mm on an APS-C camera corresponds to a medium telephoto. For wildlife photography I would recommend the XF 100-400. 135mm is too short for that. By the way, the XF 55-200 is a good choice as a supplement if you already have a standard zoom such as the 18-55. An 18-135 is not much use there.

I didn't find it at Digitec, although I bought the lens here at the time. As I had lost my lens hood, I then reordered it from a year ago here: https://www.techmania.ch/de/Product/Detail/20463996?sugsearch=20463996 . It fits and seems to be original Fuji.

Would the lens go well with the XT100?

Technically and qualitatively, definitely! And if you (like me) prefer an "always-on zoom", there is hardly a better lens for this purpose at Fuji at the moment (in my opinion). Alternatives would be at best the well-known XF18-55 + e.g. XC50-230mm. Especially the latter is a little lighter with even more focal length in the telephoto range. It is also not bad in terms of imaging, but the AF is a bit slow in comparison. Personally, I can highly recommend the XF18-135 from my own experience, especially at the current preferential price. I took it with me to Dubai and Mauritius and am happy with the results.

I've been waiting for the part for almost exactly 3 months now. Every time the announced delivery date approaches, it is pushed back again by 2 weeks. Which leads me to believe that it's not a person calling Fujifilm who is behind this, but simply a simple (and cheap?) algorithm
