You are selling a memory with 8GB RAM for the Synology DS225+ as a memory expansion. However, the DS225+ has a maximum capacity of 6 GB and is supplied with 2 GB RAM in the basic version. This is incorrect information. You can find out which memory expansions can be used for this NAS here: Synology DDR4 memory module: https://www.synology.com/de-de/products/accessories?model_number=DS225%2B&category=rams ...and where can I find the additional 4GB memory if I buy this DS 225+? I was able to do a search and the maximum RAM size stated by Synology is based on their tests. They also have their own components, although they can guarantee maximum stability etc. as they have tested it themselves. However, it is not a technical limitation but rather a recommendation. So you can also install 8GB or 16GB.
