Super video surveillance with top picture quality
Before we decided on the VAVA, the focus was entirely on the Philips Avent's.
Since unfortunately these were not available for several months, I have then researched on the net and found a report about the VAVA with super reviews.
The display size is great, as well as the picture quality. The night vision mode lets you see everything and transmits razor-sharp images. The camera with the 360 ° function is great, this can be mounted or placed anywhere and we have our child always in the picture.
Our only downside is the on/off light, this always stays on and can be annoying at night. Taping and the problem is eliminated.
The battery has a good runtime, but could be better.
On the whole we are very happy with this baby monitor and are happy to recommend it.Pro

Good quality screen and camera but low quality build
We bought this for our baby and worked fine for about a year. After that, the screen's antenna and back stand started falling apart. As a consequence, it loses connectivity very often with the camera and we need to adjust it manually all the time. Now we use duct tape on it so it just doesn't drop. Warranty services provided are not satisfactory, we can send it to repair, but no replacement is provided, what unfortunately we cannot accept as you need it all the time when you have a baby.

Great baby monitor with many functions
After very long research I bought this baby monitor and I am positively surprised. Especially the videos are great, day and night. Also the range is no problem for our apartment (140m2). Nice that it also works without WLAN.
The operation is after a familiarization also ok, so far for a not so technikaffine person something of the simplest. But certainly still potential for improvement.
The runtime of the device I imagined a little better after the field reports I have read. It lasts for one night but doesn't last for a second and then needs to be recharged.
The audio quality of the device leaves something to be desired. Also, the advertised 2-way audio is somewhat useless. When I talk to the child via the camera, it confuses the child more than it helps, as he can't see me (1 year old). Therefore, I don't need the feature.
For my use it is ultimately a super device and I would recommend.
