in principle you can take it on the plane, there's no problem fitting it in the compartments. but some airlines have made their dimensions so tight that you're taking a bit of a risk. but nobody has measured it for us yet. the 6-month-old baby thing is probably a disclaimer, i don't know. basically, the buggy is not as stable as a pushchair, of course, and the wheels are small, so it's a bit more difficult to drive on uneven terrain. but for the price, we were very satisfied. lg
