No, you don't necessarily have to place two separate orders to get a pair of Wheelblades. The Wheelblades XL can be ordered individually or as a pair. If you need two Wheelblades, it is advisable to order them as a pair, as they are then delivered pre-assembled as right and left skis, which makes assembly easier.

### Answers to your questions: #### 1. The front wheels of my rollator cannot be locked. Can I still use Wheelblades? Yes, you can still use Wheelblades even if the front wheels of your rollator cannot be locked. The Wheelblades are designed to be attached to the front wheels, regardless of whether they are lockable or not. The adjustable clamp lock of the Wheelblades adapts to different wheel widths, which enables a secure and stable connection. #### 2. Is it possible to cross areas where there is no snow with Wheelblades fitted? E.g. a cleared carriageway while there is snow on the pavements? Yes, you can also cross areas with mounted Wheelblades where there is no snow. The Wheelblades are designed to work on a variety of surfaces, including cleared pavements. They distribute the pressure evenly and run with little friction, making it possible to ride on snow-free surfaces without having to constantly mount and dismount the Wheelblades.

Hi Sandra, the blades are very flexible. The exact details of the supported wheel sizes can be found here under Downloads (brochure and manual). The clamping mechanism also works with hard wheels (I tried it with the Thule), but with pneumatic wheels the mounting feels easier and more stable (because the pneumatic wheels yield to the pressure of the clamping mechanism).

It's no problem. Of course there are limits, with a very heavily loaded car and 50cm deep Utah powder you just shovel snow onto the child. Unless you're running extremely fast. Seriously, these things work (and hold!) really well. I recommend them to others.
