Soy wax burns cleanly, producing much less soot than traditional candles. Since the wax comes in flakes, it's easy to measure out the exact amount when pouring. If desired, you can also add color and fragrance to your candles. First, melt the wax in a water bath or in the microwave at 80% power in 30-second intervals. Then mix in the fragrance and color, and attach a wick to the bottom of the jar with some glue or liquid wax. Finally, pour in the melted mixture. Use the soy wax to make soy candles in various jars.
