Bilbo Baggins, a respected hobbit, finds himself one morning in the company of Gandalf the wizard and thirteen dwarves who unexpectedly burst into his home. This marks the end of his peaceful life. Driven by an unusual sense of adventure for a hobbit, he accepts the quest to reclaim the dwarven treasure that the dragon Smaug once stole. It's no easy task, as Smaug is not fond of anyone getting too close to his hoard of gold.
