Thanks to its high resolution of up to 160,000 points, the scale is ideal for high-precision weighing in industrial environments. The robust plastic die-cast housing ensures stable positioning, protects the weighing technology, and is resistant to daily use. Particularly practical is the ability to weigh heavy loads with high precision even in confined spaces, thanks to large weighing ranges and compact dimensions. This is useful for determining the smallest weight differences, such as consumed gas, wear on mechanical parts, rock samples, minerals, druses, silver, etc.

With Industry 4.0, the integrated KERN Universal Port (KUP) allows for the connection of external KUP interface adapters, such as RS-232, USB, Bluetooth, WLAN, or Ethernet. The outstanding advantage here is that the KUP interface adapters can simply be plugged in, meaning that retrofitting interfaces is convenient without opening the scale housing or complicated installation. The interface adapters enable easy transfer of weighing data to networks, PCs, smartphones, tablets, laptops, printers, etc. Furthermore, control commands and data inputs can also be sent to the scale via the connected devices.

A tip: With the KERN KUP-13 extension box, up to three KUP interface adapters can be operated in parallel on the scale. The KERN Communication Protocol (KCP) allows for querying and remote control of the scale via external control devices or computers. The PRE-TARE function enables a manual pre-subtraction of a known container weight, which is useful for filling quantity controls.

The weighing unit is freely programmable, for example, displaying directly in wire length g/m, surface weight g/m² (paper, fabric, sheet metal, etc.) or similar. A level and foot screws for precise leveling of the scale are included as standard. A protective cover is also included in the delivery.
