Column-like consoles are a favourite of the new furnishing style. Individual, valuable collector's items become heroes on them, and next to the sofa they are also fantastic for table lamps and in the hallway as an unusual storage space. The delicate but solid base frame supports an elegantly patinated metal plate. This is produced using the classic sand-casting process with deliberate veining and irregularities. The subsequent refinement gives the surface a special graphite finish and enhances its natural beauty. To care for the surface, simply use a slightly damp, soft microfibre cloth. Wine and other acidic liquids attack the surface and must therefore be removed immediately.
