Frozen 2 is the feature-length sequel to the 2013 award-winning movie, Frozen. In Frozen 2, King Agnarr of Arendelle tells Anna and Elsa a story about their grandfather, King Runeard, who established a treaty with the neighboring tribe of Northuldra by building a dam in their homeland, the Enchanted Forest. Elsa learns that the dam was built as a ruse to reduce the Northuldra's resources because King Runeard intended to incorporate the region into his kingdom.

Elsa sends a message to Anna, who concludes that the dam must be destroyed for peace to be restored. Anna finds and awakens the gigantic Earth spirits and lures them towards the dam, which is destroyed, sending a flood down the fjord to the kingdom. Elsa thaws out and returns to Arendelle, diverting the flood and saving the kingdom. Kristoff asks Anna to marry him, which she accepts, and Anna becomes the new Queen of Arendelle.
