Very light. It's not a real steel beam, but aluminium and hollow inside. It's been a while since I hung it up, but it couldn't have been more than 2-3 kilos. Especially as there are no lampshades, only the naked bulbs.

The wooden beam is basically not adjustable, but the cables can be pulled up a bit into the canopy.
The length between the wooden beam and the lampshades can also be adjusted individually. The total length can vary between min. 1100 mm and max. 1800 mm.

By the way, it was not due to the lamps but to the circuit and the existing power peaks. I had to install a surge protector (ISO LED, fine protection for LED technology, T3), since then it has worked.

So the bar in which the cables disappear is 4.5 cm wide. Anything smaller is covered, otherwise not.
In our house it's enough to cover it, but whether that's "usual" I don't know. The holes are all different in our DIY flat :-)
