The device does not have a rechargeable battery. Either use it with the cable via a socket or with batteries. The batteries last quite a long time
You can use it without batteries or only batteries the owl in the middle is missing and has to be glued on again when a child wants to take the owl out it happens but so far satisfied with the light it is also already bright
