The pot has a hole, but this can be closed with the hard rubber (?) plug supplied. The stopper is very tight, and it was even quite difficult for me (I use the pots with saucers) to remove it because it is so tight (the stoppers are already mounted in the hole on delivery).
I have never used the pot with a stopper myself, but I honestly can't imagine that they leak as tightly as they do in my experience (in all of the 6 or so pots and flower boxes I have from Ecopots, without exception).

Has one hole. This pot is to be combined with a saucer.
