The PetSafe SmartDoor unlocks only when the programmed chip in the SmartKey collar tag is detected. This ensures that other animals or strays cannot access the house. The SmartDoor dog flap can be programmed for up to 5 SmartKey collar tags, making it ideal for households with multiple dogs and pets. The SmartDoor dog flap can be easily installed by yourself and fits doors between 3.8 cm and 5.1 cm thick or wider with additional extension tunnels. It is not suitable for glass. The SmartDoor flap opens exclusively for your dog and offers you added flexibility, as it can be set to automatic, locked, or unlocked.
