The Dyson V15 charging station is not directly compatible with other models such as the Gen5detect. The docking stations are specific to each model and cannot be interchanged, although the charging cables themselves may work in the charging ports.

A battery other than one from the Gen5 will not fit. I have contacted Dyson-Switzerland directly to order a replacement battery. According to Dyson, spare parts will be available on the market about 3-5 months after launch. But not until then (for whatever reason....) But it should be possible to order replacement batteries soon.
P.s. if you order the Gen5detectet, take the one with the bronze tube. It has the kink element, which the gen5 in purple does not have. Nobody was able to answer why this is the case. 😊😊 hope to have helped you.

but the product Gen 5 detect is awesome I already have several Dysen vacuums in my possession

this model Gen 5 is the absolute flagship. Suction power is unbelievable Handling is great

We have both. For large areas, I find "only" the Dyson too "strenuous", that's what a Roomba or similar is for.
The Dyson is great for the sofa, the carpet or other smaller areas like stairs.
This is a third-party offer for Fr 1390 and not one from Digitec Galaxus itself. Doesn't make the price any better, but just so it's clear who exactly is trying.

I bought the part. I wouldn't call myself stupid...rather a satisfied owner of a super hoover. Quality has its price.
