Well, I think it has nothing to do with the Swiss apartments, a normal home doesn't have that difference between rooms, when it's build by professionals. My robot can climb some obstacles, 1cm for sure with no problem. 2 cm it may be to much, because I think the distance between the ground and the robot it's less than 2cm and it will activate the collision sensor in your case.

There is a mode for several floors, but I can't say what it looks like with regard to the charging stations. In general, I can only advise against buying this product. It is one of the best hardware, most suction power, best step management, wipe and suck function etc.. BUT the app is horribly poorly made, loses the recorded map far too often, including the set virtual walls etc. and the support is unfortunately not interested in improving anything or even responding to the 2nd or 3rd mail. I bought iRobot for my mother and the interaction between the app and the hardware works much better. At that time, I decided against iRobot for my flat because of the price and the higher levels, which the Deebot manages. It was a mistake! @Digitec: Can I still return this product?

According to the product description, I think they were up to 2.5 cm high. We have some with a height of up to 4 cm. There are good web services especially for this, where you can buy the appropriate bars so that the robot can get over them. We got ours from https://www.helpyourrobot.de/. They have a good website, fast delivery and the products came out nice. I can recommend them.

Helpful answer

The robot is in use at our house and we have a bitch who is currently losing a lot of hair. It is worth mentioning that we only use the robot on parcels and not on carpets. It does a great job on the carpet and picks up almost everything! The hairs are pulled into the container and only a few get caught on the brush. Emptying is also extremely easy and the dirt comes out as a whole "square" lump haha. We are very happy with it. Hope this is helpful.

It could be that he can do it...in general I am always amazed at how well he copes with obstacles. Sometimes you think he'll never make it and after 5 times back and forth he does. But it can also be that he gets stuck in places that he should be able to easily get around. You'll probably have to test it yourself ;-) All in all, I'm pretty happy with it and it's amazing how much "dirt" can accumulate in what feels like a clean flat.
