I haven't seen any flakes growing yet?! But cereal grains, oat kernels, corn kernels, etc... they do. Therefore, one will be able to buy the ingredients unprocessed and turn them into flakes through the crusher....

I've been using it for just under a year. I would like to add this as an assessment. Just this much: basically good and stable. However, the flakes are not really thin even at the highest pressure (compared to other flakers) and there are 'gaps' to the left and right of the wheels where uncrushed grains regularly slip through.
