The unit is clearly audible. No problem for a party, but I don't see it as a practical piece of decorative furniture with cold drinks. I use the appliance in my hobby room as a fermentation chamber for bottom-fermented beer, so the noise level doesn't matter.

According to our research with the manufacturer, the height is not adjustable and the 86.5 cm is a fixed measurement.

The outer width is 34cm. The inside width is something around 25cm.

Mine is in a room with about 25 degrees and the wine is still cooled down to 12 degrees.
We have stored Alsatian wines that are somewhat longer than Swiss wines, around 32-33 cm high. No problems. Good wine cabinet - we are very satisfied.
They can be taken out.
