The AquaTrio can be used on all hard floors that can be wet mopped.

I don't know about laminate floors, but the unit has no problems with a lot of cat hair and long women's hair.

It depends on whether the balcony is covered or not. But I think for a balcony, a Kärcher would be more suitable than the AquaTrio, because the floor is certainly dirtier than a slab floor in the house.
