I assume the pot is discoloured on the outside. But it doesn't matter, it's the aluminium that discolours in the dishwasher. The coating on the inside of the pot should actually be undamaged.

Yes, this works very well on the sieve insert at the top. And if rice is cooked at the bottom at the same time, it gets an additional fine flavour. Or put everything together in the pan and leave to cook. Works perfectly.

should actually work, it is simply cooked.
We didn't use lentils alone, but a vegetable mix with lentils.
You have to have a sieve, though, so that the little bits of vegetable don't fly off in the rice.

The steaming tray is made of plastic. It's hard to say how big it is. In any case, I've had it for nearly 6 years and it still works well!

Goes well together! I often cook rice & broccoli in the sieve top over it.
If it sprays out of the outlet hole, you probably have too much water in it. I have the same rice cooker and it works perfectly.
Is it possible to buy the accessories for this rice cooker separately (steamer tray, measuring cup)?

As it is a steamer, the temperature cannot be regulated. As soon as it is switched on, the steamer heats to the temperature required for cooking. The product maintains that temperature until the procedure is finished or until the product is switched off. In addition to rice, vegetables and other foods can also be prepared with this product.
As a rule, yes, it says "more ads" in the specifications. And yes we are in Switzerland, but due to the grey imports we can buy the products relatively cheaply.
