The WMF frying pan 28 cm is made in China, even if some product images still say "Made in Germany". These photos are from older series. Current batches are made in China, but the quality and material (Cromargan stainless steel) remain the same.

Really nickel-free?

The pan is made of Cromargan® 18/10, a stainless steel alloy with a nickel content of approx. 10 %. It is therefore not nickel-free. Thank you very much for letting us know. We have submitted a correction request.

Where is the pan made?

After some research, it seems that the cutlery offered by WMF is currently made in Germany. However, the pots and pans appear to be made in China or Vietnam at the time of writing.

Is this the "Durado" model?

Yes, this is the WMF Durado frying pan. Instead of a Deflon coating, this pan has an enamel coating. Really easy to clean. This pan should not be used for hot frying, as it could discolour.
