Note on manufacturing:

The handle is made using the classic sand casting process. Liquid iron is poured into a sand mold, which explains the rough surface. However, the pan body is produced using a new manufacturing method, resulting in a novel appearance. In this process, liquid iron is also poured into a mold and then sealed with a top die. After a short curing time of the liquid iron, the formed pan body can be removed. It is then finely sanded, and the handle is riveted on.

Please note that this cast iron pan must be well seasoned before its first use. This creates a patina that protects your pan. A black discoloration of the pan is normal due to the material.
