Designer Peter Ramminger was inspired by oven inserts for the WMF Vitalis. This fulfilled part of the brief, making the roasting pan more functional. However, it also needed to be more innovative: TV chef Johann Lafer had the brilliant idea of integrating a thermometer into the glass lid. This allows the temperature to be monitored from the outside without lifting the lid. The WMF Vitalis family includes a roasting pan and an aroma steam cooker in various designs. The stainless steel roasting pan with glass lid is suitable for searing and braising on the stove as well as for casseroles in the oven. The aroma steam cookers made of easy-care Cromargan are designed as a small cooking kitchen for the stove. While the liquid boils in the bottom of the roasting pan, the ingredients steam on the rising vapors one level higher.
