A push-on lid won't slip because it fits snugly in the pot with its rim pointing downward and seals it tightly. Cooks love it when they want to cook ingredients with little water because it retains steam in the pot. It is available as a visible cooking lid made of heat-resistant quality glass with a Cromargan® rim. A round knob is used to lift it, and you don't need potholders because it stays at a comfortable temperature even while cooking. In the polished stainless steel version, the plug-in lid is made of one hundred percent Cromargan® and has a profiled handle that also does not heat up on the stove. All WMF lids can be put in the dishwasher.
