Question about Staub Cocotte
What is the height of the 41cm long cocotte? And can it fit easily in a normal oven(60x44). I know 41 is less than 44 ;-) but including the handles - is it easy to put in and take out when set in a diagonal position - or should I rather go for a smaller version. Thank you
Our V-ZUG oven is 55 cm wide on the outside (CH standard) and 60 cm high. The cooking chamber is about 45 cm wide and 43 cm deep. The baking tray measures 45 x 38 cm.
The cocotte fits into this oven on this baking tray - diagonally and very tightly.
Lifting the 15+ kg hot pan out of this position is a challenge in itself.

We are very happy with the big one. It is quite big. If in doubt, buy the smaller one.
