On trails with roots or rocks, things can get tough. A full-face helmet offers optimal protection here. The robust chin bar protects the head from below and the sides in case the ride is interrupted by an abrupt dismount over the handlebars. Ideally, that won't happen. When it doesn't, the ROCA is simply comfortable to wear thanks to its lightweight Inmold construction and the fixed visor that shields against sun, mud, and stones. Two helmet sizes, each with a supplied pad set, ensure that the ROCA fits every rider. The DD buckle chin strap ensures that the ROCA stays securely on your head while shredding and during hangouts. Chicken lines are a thing of the past; it's time to send it!

One factor that greatly influences comfort is the helmet's ventilation. The strategic arrangement of the ventilation openings is crucial for optimal airflow inside. Air is directed into the interior, channeled along the head, and can escape at the back. This keeps the head pleasantly climate-controlled at all times.

The inner shell of all Alpina helmets is made of Hi-EPS (High Expanded Polystyrene). This material contains microscopic air chambers that absorb the forces exerted on the helmet during an impact. Hi-EPS provides optimal protection while allowing for extra-thin wall thicknesses and narrow helmet shapes.

In the Inmold production process, the outer shell made of polycarbonate is thermally bonded to the Hi-EPS inner shell of the helmet body under high heat and pressure. This creates a large-area and inseparable connection between the outer and inner shells. The advantage: the helmet is very lightweight yet extremely stable.
