Product details

The Rapide SL Insulated from Big Agnes is an inflatable thermal mat developed for alpine tours and winter bivouacs. It is characterised by excellent insulation performance, is made of robust material and offers a high level of comfort. It can also be easily compressed and stowed in a rucksack. The outer material is a very hard-wearing polyamide ripstop with a TPU coating. The material also has an antimicrobial treatment to prevent the development of unpleasant odours. The PrimaLoft Silver insulation material impresses with its outstanding thermal performance. With an R-value of 4.8, the thermal mat is suitable for very cold temperatures. In addition, a two-layer, heat-reflecting coating ensures that less body heat escapes, while the quilted sleeping surface offers a soft and comfortable sleeping experience. The outer air chambers are slightly larger so that the body remains in the centre.
