Product details

This telescope not only collects more light than the 50AZ, resulting in brighter images, but it also features a mount with fine adjustment. This allows you to align the telescope precisely along the altitude axis. The altazimuth mount is ideal for nature observation, but of course, you can also use it to observe the moon and stars. Image-erecting lens systems ensure that you see upright, correctly oriented images through the telescope, just like you are used to with binoculars - this is equally helpful for nature observation as it is for gazing into the night sky. Celestron PowerSeeker telescopes open the door to the great wonders of the universe. They are designed to offer an outstanding price-performance ratio for beginners in astronomy. The telescopes are quick and easy to set up, even for novices. No tools are required for assembly. The sturdy equatorial mounts are ideal for tracking planets at high magnification, while the collapsible altazimuth mounts are perfect for both terrestrial and astronomical observation. All Celestron PowerSeekers come with a complete set of eyepieces and a 3x Barlow lens, allowing for over 100x magnification. The PowerSeeker telescopes feature only high-quality glass optical components with high-transmission coatings for enhanced image brightness and brilliance. Each PowerSeeker telescope also includes the astronomy software "Redshift 7 - Celestron Edition," enabling you to find and identify thousands of celestial objects on your PC or laptop.
