Product details
Continental has further optimized the Top Contact Winter II by adding a Vectran breaker and a foldable core. This improves its weight and consequently reduces rolling resistance. It features reflective stripes for increased safety. The tread compound is directly based on Continental's passenger car winter tires. The tire performs best at temperatures between -25°C and +7°C. Where other compounds lose grip, the proven siped profile of the Top Contact Winter II interlocks with snow and damp surfaces. In these conditions, the tire even outperforms spikes, which are ineffective on snow and plowed roads. The reflective stripe provides additional safety during the dark winter months.
