The lower end is equipped with a corrugated hose with a smooth interior, keeping the snorkel away from the mouth when used with a breathing device. A purge valve is, of course, included. The mouthpiece, made from soft silicone, has a particularly ergonomic angle optimized for longer use without straining the jaw muscles. All parts are detachable for easy cleaning.
