The most important innovation of the Quantum mask is that it not only provides improved visibility downwards but also prevents fogging through the internal thermoregulation of the warm, humid air that exits from the nose. This air is directed through a system of membranes integrated into the molded parts around the eyes and nose, guiding the airflow towards the silicone body instead of towards the lenses. The outer part of the silicone body is equipped with a cooling system consisting of two small heat exchangers. The effect is that the temperature inside the mask decreases and approaches the outside temperature, and moisture droplets are captured before the air reaches the lenses, preventing them from fogging up. Despite the small internal membranes that redirect the airflow and the external heat exchangers, the housing of the Quantum mask is compact and represents the most advanced design available in the underwater visibility device (mask) market. The lenses are not chemically treated. When the mask is new, we recommend cleaning the lenses carefully with a special mask cleaner, as is advised for all masks.
