The Ratchet DEG system offers improved reliability and more direct acceleration through a new engagement angle and enlarged ratchets. With 90 teeth, they provide the smallest engagement angle of 4º in the DT Swiss portfolio. This enables a more direct power transfer for riders, especially in technical terrain. The new hub body allows for the installation of these optimized ratchets for efficient power transmission over a larger contact area.
