If there are not enough threaded inserts for the regular Duo adapter, the Unifit variant with tension bands can be used. For mounting on the fork, at least one tension band and one threaded insert are required, while mounting on the frame can be done with tension bands alone. Suitable for round and irregular cross-sections with a diameter of 15−60 mm. Unifit mounting: patented attachment of the adapter with stainless steel band for round and irregular cross-sections. We generally advise against using it on carbon or other lightweight seat posts, or recommend consulting the manufacturer's advice.
