Product details

Probably the most ridden and in recent years most successful downhill tire in the world. The Minion DHF combines proven elements such as beveled lugs for low rolling resistance and great running smoothness with longitudinally slotted lugs for more grippy edges. This gives it excellent directional stability and precise cornering. It is the reference for fast trails, from light freeride to hard downhill. The EXO+ construction combines two of the good puncture protection materials: SilkShield and EXO. The SilkShield layer surrounds the whole tire from bead to bead, the EXO layer is mounted on the sidewalls. Tires with EXO+ protection are built for aggressive trail riding and enduro racing, and especially designed for the higher torque and weight of E-MTBs. The Freeride version of the 3C tires. Significantly more grip and traction through softer compounds, with acceptable rolling resistance, so that you can still ride well up the mountain before the great descent, long life. Tubeless tires have many advantages: You can ride with less air pressure. This gives you better traction and reduces rolling resistance. And where there is no tube, the risk of punctures is also reduced. MAXXIS TR tires are better prepared for mounting with sealant than other "Tubeless Ready" tires. The bead of the TR tires is completely covered with a rubber layer, just like a real UST tubeless tire. This means that tubeless mounting is successful on all rims with standard dimensions even with the first inflation and with little liquid. Intended use: Downhill / Freeride. Weight: 1080 g. Wheel size: 29 inch. Scope of delivery (quantity): single tyre. Type of construction: folding tyre. E-bike compatibility: without manufacturer's recommendation. Rubber compound: 3C MaxxTerra.
