Featuring side knobs from the legendary DHF, which have been slightly widened for even better cornering grip, it offers extreme cornering stability. The center knobs have beveled edges for improved acceleration. Notches on the knobs enhance the transition when leaning into corners. Some of the center knobs have a paddle shape that digs in during hard braking, helping to keep the bike under control.

Exo Protection: This extremely cut- and abrasion-resistant material protects the sidewalls of various MTB tires. It is tightly woven, lightweight, and very flexible, ensuring that the tire's performance remains impressively good.

Tubeless tires have many advantages: you can ride with lower air pressure, resulting in better traction and reduced rolling resistance. And where there is no tube, the risk of flats decreases. Maxxis TR tires are better prepared for mounting with sealant than other "Tubeless Ready" tires. The bead of our TR tires is completely covered with a rubber layer, just like a true UST tubeless tire. This makes tubeless mounting successful on all standard-sized rims right from the first inflation and with minimal sealant.
