Even better heel fixation and a particularly comfortable fit are provided by the variofix system with a freely running Speed Wire that tightens at the heel when laced. A Vibram rubber profile sole ensures good grip on all paths, and it features an EVA Duo Density cushioning wedge for added comfort. Last but not least, its Gore-Tex membrane makes the shoe reliably waterproof.
