Product details
X-Miles Compound
Less wear due to the abrasion-resistant rubber compound, which is applied thicker on the center tread. Additionally, there is an efficiency gain of 8.6 watts per pair of tires compared to its predecessor. This translates to a time gain of 34 seconds over 40 km at an average speed of 45 km/h.
HD Protection Bead2Bead
The HD Protection technology consists of textile fibers woven in a crisscross pattern to form a high-density (HD) protective layer. This allows for an excellent compromise between significant puncture resistance and low rolling resistance, without affecting the weight of Michelin's racing tires. Since its invention by Michelin and its introduction into competitive racing in 1986, the Michelin research and development team has continuously worked to improve the performance of the protective layer. The HD Protection Bead2Bead version is optimized for racing use.
Skin Wall
A Skin Wall sidewall allows the texture of the casing to show through. The benefits are less weight and more performance.
