Nikon Monarch HG 10x42 Binoculars

Binoculars for outdoor activities with up to eight times magnification. Twilight factor: 17.1. Minimum focusing distance: 2 m. ED glass lenses. Waterproof up to 5 m for up to 10 minutes. Weight: 680 g.

Whether observing birds or wildlife, you will benefit from a wide field of view and high optical performance. Thanks to the field-flattener lens system and ED glass with particularly low dispersion, the Monarch HG 10x42 offers exceptional sharpness right to the edges of the image. The dielectric multi-layer coating on the prism and the high-quality multi-layer coating also ensure excellent brightness, color fidelity, and detail sharpness. The slim construction, made from a magnesium alloy, is robust and durable yet compact and lightweight. This waterproof and fog-free binocular is ideal for all outdoor activities.

Outstanding optical performance: With a large field of view, you can quickly survey landscapes. The field-flattener lens system provides a sharp, clear view to the edge of the image. The ED glass with particularly low dispersion corrects chromatic aberration and delivers a high-contrast, high-resolution, and color-accurate image. All lenses and prisms are coated with a high-quality multi-layer coating. Additionally, a dielectric, highly reflective multi-layer coating is applied to the roof prism to enhance light reflection. This combination results in an exceptionally bright image with light transmission of up to 92% or more.

Sleek, lightweight, and robust design: The stylish Monarch HG not only looks good but is also compact and lightweight, making it an ideal travel companion. The magnesium alloy housing is both sturdy and lightweight. The scratch-resistant lens coating allows for long, worry-free use of the binoculars without compromising quality. Optimized for all outdoor activities.

Rank 4 out of 5ImTest CampingFerngläser im TestReleaseJune 2024
