jaw width

The rim width of a wheel refers to the inner width of the rim through which the tyre passes. It determines the size and type of tyres that can be fitted to the wheel and plays an important role in the selection of suitable tyres for a bicycle or other vehicle.

The axle system of a wheel, such as "HR 10x120mm", provides important information about the wheel type, the axle diameter and the installation width.
