The Pirelli SmarTUBE X is the new TPU tube model for the tires of the Cinturato and Angel product families. It replaces the previous Cinturato SmartTUBE, with the new SmarTUBE X distinguishing itself primarily by its tripled wall thickness, resulting in increased robustness and puncture resistance. These are ideal characteristics for use in urban environments and for fast commuting. The SmarTUBE X is offered in two different product lines, both with Presta or Schrader valves: the Cinturato SmarTUBE X for tire sizes from 28-622 to 40-622 and from 40-622 to 50-622, and the Angel SmarTUBE X for tire sizes from 28-622 to 42-622 and from 42-622 to 62-622. It is compatible with rim brakes but cannot be repaired.
