POC Auric Cut Backcountry MIPS Ski Helmet - Uranium Black Matt

The new Auric Cut Backcountry MIPS sets new standards for skiing on and off the slopes. The new POC MIPS technology ensures that the energy impacting the brain during a fall with an oblique impact is reduced. Gel padding on the inside of the helmet perfectly conforms to the shape of the head and absorbs linear and rotational forces through its free movement, similar to the natural protective mechanism of cerebrospinal fluid.

The Auric Cut Backcountry MIPS features soft ear pads, a lightweight size adjustment system, and adjustable ventilation inspired by the Fornix. The EPP material used on the inside of the helmet is multi-impact capable, making the helmet extremely safe and durable in conjunction with MIPS and the ABS outer shell. The integrated Recco reflector facilitates location in the terrain. Additionally, the Auric Cut Backcountry SPIN is compatible with the optionally available POC Aid Communication Headset.
