Product details
The Pro User Amber IV is a tiltable bike rack designed for transporting four bicycles on vehicle tow hitches. This rack features a patented quick coupling system for easy mounting on nearly all types of tow hitches and accommodates bicycles of various frame sizes and tire dimensions. The tilting mechanism allows for easy access to the vehicle's trunk without the need to disassemble the rack. Bicycles are secured in wide, stable plastic wheel trays with flexible frame clamps that attach to the bike frame, preventing stress on the bottom bracket. The rack includes integrated lighting with combined 7-pin and 13-pin connectors, with reverse and fog lights functioning through the 13-pin connection. Made from coated steel in a black finish, it weighs approximately 19.5 kg with a maximum load capacity of 60 kg. Safety is enhanced by an integrated curtain lock system. This model has European type approval from the RDW. It is important to note that this rack is less suitable for transporting electric bicycles due to their typically higher weight in relation to the maximum load capacity.
