If the product was purchased from our company, you can open a warranty claim directly from your customer area. If, on the other hand, the purchase was made elsewhere, we recommend that you contact your dealer or the manufacturer directly.

You can use the Tacx Boost with different types of bikes, not just road bikes. Here are some important points to bear in mind: - The Tacx Boost is compatible with bikes that have a 5mm quick-release axle. Wheels with thru-axles require separate adapters, which must be purchased separately from Tacx. - The trainer can be used with wheels of different tyre sizes, but there are specific settings for the position of the resistance unit based on the tyre size. This ensures that the trainer is correctly connected to the wheel. It is therefore possible to use a bike with wider tyres as long as the appropriate adjustments and adapters are made if necessary.

Indeed, roller training is exhausting. 1. no airstream for cooling 2. the magnetic brake always works (even at level 1), so it is not possible to roll like on a flat surface. If necessary, check the tyre pressure and roller contact pressure. Tyres with tread are unsuitable for roller training.

To use the TACX Boost, it is necessary to use the supplied TACX universal quick release to clamp the bike in the trainer. If the bike does not have a quick release but a thru axle, a suitable TACX thru axle adapter must be used as it is not possible to clamp the bike with the original thru axle. Which thru axle adapter is required depends on the existing thru axle on the rear wheel, here the length, diameter and thread pitch are decisive. The selection of the correct thru axle adapter can be found in the following instructions: https://support.garmin.com/de-DE When using a Gravel bike there is usually no problem, the desired mounting position of the brake unit results from the wheel diameter of the bike. This is explained in the assembly instructions included in the delivery. Please also note the Garmin recommendations for the rear tyre on Wheel-On trainers: https://support.garmin.com/de-DE

This product is compatible with Swift. Virtual Training with Virtual Power uses training modes based on your wattage. It does not support interactive training with automatic resistance adjustment. Find out more in the video below.

The difference between the Tacx Boost and the Tacx Boost bundle is that the bundle also includes a speed sensor that enables the use of training apps such as Zwift. The pure Boost is a non-smart roller trainer with manually adjustable resistance, while the bundle allows connection to apps via the sensor. The roller trainer also works with mountain bikes, as it is suitable for wheel sizes up to 29". No special wheel axle is required; the bike can simply be hooked in as the trainer is compatible with quick release axles of 130/135 mm, which is standard on most mountain bikes.
