In terrain where everything shakes and shakes, the flag loses its purpose anyway, so just take it off beforehand. A red rear light will do just as well.
We have fitted the pennant to the Thule CAB 2. This pennant is in two parts and in my opinion a little longer than the one supplied with the trailer. We have therefore only fitted the part with the pennant. For us it fits quite well this way.
